BU15 GOLD CAPTURES FIRECRACKER TOURNAMENT
Burlington, WA - June 18-20, 2010.The BU15 GOLD TEAM, coached by Francois Delafosse, captured one of the first wins of the 2010 tournament season.The team won the finals against the Spokane Sabers 3-2 in an exciting shoot out!Congratulations boys on becoming the CHAMPIONS of the Firecracker Tournament!
FC Alliance B14 Gold'96 Wins Tournament!
Congratulations to FC Alliance B14 Gold'96 coached by Dayo Oyetuga for winning the 2010 Washington Games Tournament held at Starfire July 30-Aug 1. The boys lost the first game to the MVP Rapids, but won the next two matches against Crossfire and WSA Alliance. The championship game was a rematch against the Rapids with FC Alliance coming out on top 5-4 in penalty kicks.
U10 DEV GOLD - 2010 King of the Hill Champions!
FC Alliance U10 Dev Gold - Alcaraz, declared CHAMPIONS in the “King of the Hill Classic” Tournament July 16-18. The boys were so excited to win their very first tournament of the season, and now look forward to many more victories! Congratulations to Hugo and his exceptional team of athletes.
FC Alliance G93 Gold - National Cup IX Regional Champions!
Congratulations to our GU-17 FC Alliance 93 Gold (Hultin) team for winning the US Club Soccer National Cup IX Regional Championship held June 26th-29th at 60 Acres. The girls went undefeated against Crossfire, Westsound FC, Puget Sound Slammers, and Tynecastle FC. Also congratulations to our GU-15 FC Alliance 95 Gold (Hultin) team for acheiving Finalist in their Premier division. Winners of Regional Championships are invited to attend the National Cup Finals & Collegiate Showcase in Virginia Beach, Va.
Washington Youth Soccer Announces Participants for Regional Club League’s 2010-2011 Fall Season
FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON (Fri, July 2, 2010) – Washington Youth Soccer announced today that the elite Regional Club League (RCL) will have its inaugural season this fall with 21 clubs and two individual teams competing. U18 Alliance Boys Sign College Letters!
Congratulations to our 2010 graduates who have made college commitments to Skagit Valley College. The Cardinal Men’s Soccer program is excited to announce several quality players inked for the 2010 season. These former FC Alliance players will play an immediate impact on their success in the fall.
Andy Townsend, FC Alliance ’91 A-Renkert
Townsend helped his FC Alliance U-18 Boys team a semi-final finish in 2010 Washington State Cup - Champions Bracket. Currently, he is playing for Inglemoor High School and hoping to have a successful season with the Vikings.
"Andy will bring some needed help in our back line in the fall. He has good size and reads the game exceptionally well. Andy’s most valuable asset to our team is his passion to the game of football. He loves a good challenge but he is ready to helped others when the opportunity arises."
Brandon Rise, FC Allliance ’91 A-Renkert
Rise is 2009 All Kingco - Honorable Mention and currently playing for Coach Alex Zahajko at Bothell High School. The Cougars are prospected to finish in the top of the league during preseason polls in 2010 and is looking to make deep run in the state playoffs.
"Brandon looks to continue his soccer success here at SVC this fall. He is able to win individual battle offensively and is looking to notch some goals for the Cardinals. Brandon is a creative player that also works extremely hard off the football offensively and defensively."
Jacob Vaughn, FC Alliance ’91 B-Umana
Vaughn is currently playing for Inglemoor High School where the Vikings are looking to qualify to the state tournament from the Kingco-4A tournament.
"Jacob is natural athlete and has all the necessary tools to be a good soccer player. His quickness and speed will help us on the wings."
