“Meghan Biggs has been a big part of the team these last two years taking on more and more responsibilities on the field without complaint. She is a strong force on this team wanting only the best for the team and each player. This is quite the contrast to when she joined the team 3 years ago, where she was quiet and just played along with what everyone was doing. In the three years of coaching Meghan I have seen her grow not just as a player but as a young woman, her dedication to each player, her commitment to the team, her passion and drive to succeed and her leadership on the team has earned her a lot of respect on and off the field from all involved - players, coach’s and parents. This is backed up by how her teammates felt about her and named her as one of the teams Captain’s which was voted by the players. Meghan’s genuine love for the game and desire to see the team as a whole do well is appreciated by the coach’s and players. As a coach having a player like Meghan is a pleasure and makes my job easier and fun! Meghan’s achievements both on and off the field is a true testament of who she is and her commitment level she gives to everything she puts her mind and heart to. Just spend a few moments with her and you will see what I am talking about!”
