Bill Umana brings international coaching experience to the teams. His head coaching experience has been in the Semi-Pros for Costa Rica and International Soccer League 2007 winter champions with team La Espanola.
In 2004, he was awarded NYSA/FCA Coach of the Year, named Washington State Youth Soccer Association District 2 Coach of the Year, and WSYSA Coach of the Year nominee.
In 2008 he was named Head Coach for La Liga Hispana Allstars; Bill was provided only 40 days to assemble his team, train and prepare them for play against the 2007 USL National Champion Seattle Sounders in the Comcast Cup.
Bill was recognized by the Costa Rican news media for doing a great job on player development in Washington State. Beyond his awards recognition, Bill coached for colleges and high schools, as well as numerous Premier teams under the FC Alliance umbrella in Washington State.
