New FC Alliance CREST!
The Executive Board is excited to announce the new FC Alliance Logo and contest winner! The clubs new crest, which will soon grace this website and all promotional literature, signage, letterhead and uniforms was created by Christian Matthews.
Christian plays soccer on the BU15 Celtic’s within the Northshore Youth Soccer Association and is a 9th grade student in the Northshore School District. As our Grand Prize Winner, Christian will receive a $500 gift certificate to SoccerWest.
All the logos submitted were amazing and extremely well done, making the job of selecting only one extremely difficult. "We were thrilled with the number of applicants and the quality, boldness and creativity of the concepts.” said Jim Neir, VP Competition. "While the designs were all unique and special in their own way, Christian’s design succeeded impressively in projecting a bold image that will represent our clubs premier status both beautifully and professionally. The sheer simplicity of his concept is what makes it stand out."
The FC Alliance Board would like to thank all who participated in the competition, and to congratulate Christian on his winning design. Stay tuned as we rollout the logo over next few months and on every uniform beginning with the 2011 season.
As the High School girls soccer season concludes, the FC Alliance board would like to congratulations all our girls and coaches that excelled in their High School programs. We are proud of the over forty-three Alliance players that participated on their school teams, and were influential in helping their High School teams win division titles and move up in state tournaments.
A special recognition to our players at the Archbishop Murphy School (State 2A Champions), and The Overlake School (State 1A Finalists). In addition, we congratulate those awarded special recognition as part of the Kingco All-league Girls Soccer teams. One of our objectives is to provide the high quality training necessary to produce players capable of playing at the high school and collegiate levels.
